Essentially a wagon version of the Taycan, the Cross Turismo improves on the standard Taycan sedan in key areas. Its tall and stylish profile enhances the cargo capacity and offers a wide opening for loading items. It also opens up more rear passenger headroom and makes it easier to get in and out of the back seat. Then there is the slightly higher ride height of the Cross Turismo and softer tuning of the suspension which results in a smoother ride.
Happily, the changes to the Cross Turismo don’t detract from the already impressive performance of the Taycan. It feels like a proper Porsche thanks to precise steering, great handling and brisk acceleration. There’s no EV that’s more engaging and more satisfying to drive, quick or otherwise, than the Taycan Cross Turismo. We recently subjected it to the Edmunds EV range test, and it easily passed the EPA’s estimate.
