Motorstadt is the show that everyone in the Michigan Volkswagen Enthusiasts (MIVE) community looks forward to; the first big show of the year, the one to show off the hard work from over the winter, that laid back show that just keeps getting bigger and better as the years go on.  Motorstadt always brings out some quality German automobiles and this year was certainly not an exception.  Enthusiasts from all over the state converged on the Austrian Society Park where the show is held. With the show’s growing popularity, it is not unusual to see vehicles from Ohio and parts of Canada in attendance and this year the Best of Show VW award went to a bagged Fahrenheit GTI from Kentucky.  The growth of the show has also lead to the introduction of a non-VW/Audi class and even in its first year the class saw several superb vehicles.  Next year will be the tenth year for Motorstadt and from what we hear; it will be bigger than ever.  Enjoy the gallery from this year’s event and try to inspire yourself to head out to “Euro Hangar”!
