Icey Porsche 356A

When you think of a Porsche 356 you probably see it carving through European mountains on a flat grey ribbon of asphalt. Jorgen A. Andersson – a member at Porsche356Registry.org – sees its rubber sitting on snow. The thought of this might be unsettling but actually seeing him toss his 1958 Porsche 356A Coupe, equipped with a set of Semperit studded snow tires, around on the white snow packed tarmac it all seems right. And well, afterall, the rough tick of an air-cooled flat four always feels right in front of any backdrop.

As enthusiasts we’re usually apprehensive (if not terrified) of the falling white stuff and all the salt, cinders and poor driving habits that endanger our pride and joys. So, seeing an unlikely and impeccable specimen dodge and drift around the snow covered wilderness is qute theraputic.
